To design THIN LINES which will tend to shade during time. Its rough surface allows to keep more pigment around the needle therefore this needle releases more color than 1 Point Standard.
Compatible only with Biotek INGOT.

In the range of BIOTEK needles you will find 6 different types of single-pointed needles with taper of different lengths and different finishes to help you achieve the effects you want.
The taper is the tip of the needle, which is the conical part.
The shorter the taper, the thicker the line and the less sharp the needle.
The longer the taper is, the thinner the line will be and the needle will be very sharp.

  • 1 pt HD needle: long taper, 0.25 diameter and extra sharpened surface. Ideal for very fine lines or pixel effects on perfect skins.
  • 1 pt extra color needle: medium taper, 0.30 diameter and rough surface. Ideal for depositing color even in the most superficial layers of the skin. Particularly suitable for working on oily skin.
  • 1 pt classic needle: short taper and 0.40 diameter. It is a not very aggressive needle, which releases a fairly thick line, therefore ideal for working on delicate areas such as the lip contour or soft shadings.
  • 1 pt extra flex needle: long taper and 0.20 diameter. It is a needle similar to acupuncture and therefore very very thin. Due to its conformation and flexibility, it does not bring much color under the skin. Ideal for working on mature skin.
  • 1pt rhomboid needle: medium taper, diameter 0.35 and rhomboid shape. This needle is very particular due to its shape. It is a sharp needle that writes on all skin types and brings a lot of color. Ideal for hair by hair effects on difficult /thick skins.
  • 1pt trico needle: very short taper, 0.45 diameter and bullet shape. This needle is ideal for making dots in scalp pigmentation. Its shape has been designed to help the operator to remain in the superficial dermis, not to implant the color in depth.
